A massive wall of ice has crashed ashore near Bras d’Or Lake in Cape Breton, N.S., creating a surreal scene that would not appear out of place in an episode of the HBO hit “Game of Thrones.” Dozens of residents stopped to take photos with the chunks of ice that had piled up on Saturday afternoon, remarking that Cape Breton – one of Canada’s top summer destinations – can be beautiful in the winter, too. This isn’t the first ice wall this year to have garn -

Bernie Sanders vows to unseat Trump in 2020
NEW YORK -- Bernie Sanders kicked off his presidential campaign Saturday miles from the rent-controlled apartment where he grew up in Brooklyn and forcefully made the case that he is nothing like fellow New Yorker Donald Trump, proclaiming himself the Democrat best prepared to beat the incumbent in 2020. "My experience as a child, living in a family that struggled economically, powerfully influenced my life and my values. I know where I came from," Sanders boomed in his unmistakable Brooklyn acc -

Trump warns of 'socialist nightmare,' predicts 2020 win in off-script speech
OXON HILL, Md. -- In a slashing speech packed with braggadocio and grievance, President Donald Trump denounced Democrats as the party of "the socialist nightmare," relitigated his crowd sizes back to the inauguration and took on "sick," "lunatic" and "dirty" foes at every turn, earning him the unvarnished adoration of cheering conservatives Saturday. After a trying week of tumult and setbacks, Trump delivered a stemwinder that extended beyond two hours and hardly left him winded. Trump let loose -

In a wide-ranging speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference, Trump rehashed his outsider campaign that overcame long odds and a crowded field of establish -

Many 'still hurting' nearly 5 months after Hurricane Michael
PANAMA CITY, Fla. -- Paulina "Bela" Sebastiao would give almost anything to be able to do a load of laundry without having to drive miles from her Mexico Beach home.
