VANCOUVER — A number of long-standing high-temperature records were broken across the Fraser Valley and other parts of British Columbia Saturday (Mar. 16) as a high-pressure ridge moved over the province.

Quebec delays implementation of new French curriculum to September 2027
MONTRÉAL — Quebec is delaying the rollout of its new French curriculum in elementary and secondary schools by one year.
Education Minister Sonia LeBel says the new program will instead launch across the network in September 2027.

Three people dead in western Quebec First Nation, provincial police say
MANIWAKI — Quebec provincial police have taken over an investigation into the deaths of three people in a First Nation community in the province's western region.

Abbotsford Police assist injured owl near Highway 1
ABBOTSFORD – Abbotsford Police officers were in the right place at the right time after locating an injured owl near Highway 1 and Highway 11 Tuesday night.
