Chilliwack, B.C. –The Chiefs’ first game of 2026 saw Chilliwack face the Langley Rivermen for the first time this regular season. It was the first of two meetings between the two teams this weekend, and also the first time Brad Rihela and Chris Price were back in the Chilliwack Coliseum since their time with the Chiefs, this time on the opposing bench.

NEW YORK — Florida Panthers forward Anton Lundell has been fined $5,000 for high-sticking Montreal Canadiens forward Alexandre Texier, the NHL’s Department of Player Safety announced Friday.

1 pedestrian dead after being struck by train in Langley Thursday evening
LANGLEY — Langley RCMP are now investigating a fatal train collision that happened on Thursday evening (Jan. 8).
