LANGLEY — The streets of Martini Town are gearing up this weekend to transform into a festive wonderland for the holiday season.
From Friday, November 21, to December 31, the Langley-based outdoor film set will be opening its Hollywood-style backlot to the public for the annual “Merry & Bright”.
“Opening our backlot to the public allows those who cherish the holidays to step right onto their own film set, creating and capturing Christmas movie-quality memories,”

MONTREAL — Boston Bruins defenceman Charlie McAvoy exited midway through the second period of Saturday’s game against the Montreal Canadiens after receiving a slap shot from Noah Dobson to the face. The Bruins announced he would not return.
