An RCMP adjudicator has found three B.C constables failed to treat people with respect and courtesy when they posted racist, sexist and homophobic comments in a group chat with other officers and on police computer terminals.

MONTREAL — Montreal police are expanding a pilot project meant to provide better support for victims of strangulation in relation to domestic violence.

MONTREAL — The CEO of Montreal's public transit agency says there is progress in negotiations with one of two unions whose walkouts have disrupted service across the network.

CHILLIWACK — New labour figures from Statistics Canada show that the job market has slowed to a near halt in the Fraser Valley over the past month.
Chilliwack added 500 jobs in October, but unemployment rose 0.7 points to 7.1 per cent. Similarly, while Abbotsford-Mission added 300 jobs, joblessness in the area stayed at 7.2 per cent.

Quebec police arrest 22 men in online child sex exploitation investigation
MONTREAL — Quebec provincial police have arrested 22 men between the ages of 18 and 70 in an investigation into the online sexual exploitation of children.
