FORT ST. JOHN — Police say a 22-year-old man has been charged over a string of gun-related incidents in Fort St. John, B.C., where he was allegedly found wearing body armour and carrying a loaded gun, prompting a "take-down" arrest.

NANAIMO — The Snuneymuxw First Nation has announced it is buying two British Columbia casinos, including the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond.

Thousands lose power in Langley during lunch hour on Thursday
LANGLEY — On a day when it’s sunny and pleasant across the Fraser Valley, over 2,100 customers in Langley have lost power during the lunch hour Thursday for an unknown reason.
According to BC Hydro’s online dashboard, exactly 2,128 customers in Langley Township saw their electricity go out at 12:08 p.m.
