Latifah Abdu had the other goal for Montreal (3-0), which outshot its opponent 15-4 and 5-1 in on-target shots.
Delaney Pridham had the lone goal for Ottawa (1-2), opening the scoring 40 minutes into the first half.

CHILLIWACK — Once the smoke cleared at this single structure in the Fairfield Island area, the Tawileh family found they were left without a home.
Just before 4 a.m. on April 27, a fast-moving fire went through their house in the 10000 block of Fairbanks Crescent. Mohammad Tawileh, his wife, and their children quickly escaped, but they did lose all of their belongings, and the home was severely damaged.

VANCOUVER — People in Vancouver and beyond remain in mourning one week after a deadly attack on a Filipino street festival.

Woman dies when a bomb she is carrying explodes in the Greek city of Thessaloniki, police say
THESSALONIKI, Greece (AP) — A woman was killed early Saturday in the northern Greek city of Thessaoloniki when a bomb she was carrying exploded in her hands, police said.

2 women shot on campus of small technical college near Los Angeles
INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Two women were shot on the campus of a Southern California technical college Friday and taken to the hospital, authorities said.
Mayor James Butts of Inglewood said the shooting occurred around 4 p.m. on the Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology Campus.
