TORONTO — Even though 30 months have elapsed and the rosters have been altered since they met in the 2022 American League wild-card series, there still are bitter feelings between the Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners.
That was evident in an emotional afternoon at Rogers Centre on Saturday when Blue Jays starter Jose Berríos scolded Seattle slugger Cal Raleigh in the fourth inning of the Mariners’ 8-4 win in 12 innings.
Berríos accused Raleigh of peering from secon -
Si Woo Kim leads by 1 at Hilton Head with Thomas lurking
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (AP) — The vibe at Hilton Head Island is all about ease and relaxation. It felt like anything but that to Justin Thomas on Saturday in the RBC Heritage.
His two-shot lead was gone in two holes, partly because of a one-shot penalty on the par-5 second hole when he informed the rules official his golf ball might have moved a little more than a dimple (it did).
His worst swing of the day on the 11th hole put him in shallow water inside a red hazard line. He tried to p -
