FORT ST. JOHN — Police in northern British Columbia say a man was found dead inside a car Friday after he allegedly set fire to an apartment building and drove into the flames.
Fort St. John RCMP say in a statement that the man had been a suspect in a shooting outside the same apartment complex that day.
The Mounties say officers responded to a report of a shooting in which a man in a car allegedly shot at a pick-up truck with two people inside at about 1:20 p.m.

Israeli strikes on Gaza kill more than 90 people in the last 48 hours, Palestinians say
DEIR AL-BALAH, Gaza Strip (AP) — More than 90 people have been killed in Gaza by Israeli strikes in the last 48 hours, Gaza’s Health Ministry said Saturday.
The ministry does not differentiate between civilians and combatants.

River Valley Trail to receive trims, signage after B.C. grant program
CHILLIWACK — Hedges on the Chilliwack River Valley Trail are due for some fresh cuts soon, as volunteers receive an annual grant from Trans Canada Trail.
