WASHINGTON (AP) — Officers enforcing immigration laws will now be able to arrest migrants at sensitive locations like schools and churches after the Trump administration threw out policies limiting where those arrests could happen.
The move reverses guidance that for over a decade has restricted two key federal immigration agencies — Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection — from carrying out immigration enforcement in sensitive locations.

RCMP says three alleged human smugglers charged with conspiracy in Quebec
MONTREAL — Quebec RCMP say three men have been charged for allegedly planning to help smuggle people into the United States.

Teck Resources expects copper production to rise this year
VANCOUVER — Teck Resources Ltd. says it expects its copper production to total between 490,000 and 565,000 tonnes this year, helped by higher production at its Quebrada Blanca and Highland Valley Copper operations.
