Mission’s ‘Lighting of the Trees’ Holiday Event Rescheduled
MISSION – City of Mission officials have rescheduled the annual “Lighting of the Trees,” a holiday season kick-off event.
The event is now set for Centennial Park on Wednesday, December 4th, five days later than originally scheduled.

Holiday Candlelight Parade could draw thousands to Mission’s downtown
MISSION – One of BC’s largest nighttime holiday parades is set for next Saturday in Mission.
The 39th edition of the Mission Candlelight Parade, hosted by the city’s chamber of commerce, will begin rolling down a two-kilometre stretch of First Avenue and the Lougheed Hwy at 6 p.m. on Dec. 7.
