Passerby stabbed during shoplifting at Vancouver liquor store
VANCOUVER — A passerby has been seriously injured after he was stabbed by a shoplifter who was trying to flee a liquor store in Vancouver’s Olympic Village neighbourhood.
Vancouver police say the attack happened on Saturday at around 10:30 p.m., when a security guard was trying to stop a shoplifter from leaving the liquor store.

Man charged with second-degree murder in Vancouver homicide
VANCOUVER — A man has been charged with second-degree murder in a Vancouver homicide over the weekend.
British Columbia’s Court Services Online database shows Tenzin Choigey facing charges for both murder and aggravated assault for an offence in Vancouver on Friday.
In a release, police in Vancouver have confirmed Choigey, 46, was charged in the death of 26-year-old Roshnee Gurung.
