NEW WESTMINSTER, B.C. — Police are searching for a suspect after three people were stabbed at a casino in New Westminster, B.C., early Saturday morning.
New Westminster police say they were called to a restaurant inside the Starlight Casino after two groups of people got into a fight on the patio, with three ending up injured.

The 61-year-old Winnipeg native announced Saturday he will retire next year once his successor has been chosen.

CALGARY — Former Chicago Blackhawks star and Hall of Fame hockey executive Bill Hay has died. He was 88.
Hockey Canada, where Hay was president and chief operating officer from 1990-1995, confirmed Hay’s death in a release Saturday. A cause of death was not provided.

LANGLEY – The RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 82-year-old woman in B.C.’s Lower Mainland.
Investigators say Jane Whitehouse was last seen in Aldergrove just after 10 p.m. on Friday night before she was reported missing.
Whitehouse was believed to be wearing a green jacket at the time she disappeared.

COQUITLAM – RCMP say a 59-year-old man who went missing while walking along the Coquitlam River last weekend has been found dead.
Robert Belding disappeared Sunday after Coquitlam was hit hard by an atmospheric river weather system that rolled over southern B.C., bringing more than 250 millimetres of rain between Friday and Sunday.
