Man dead after stabbing on downtown Montreal metro station platform
MONTREAL — Montreal police say a man is dead following a fatal altercation on a downtown metro station platform late Saturday.
Const. Jean-Pierre Brabant says a 37-year-old man was stabbed in the upper body during a fight at about 11:20 p.m. with another person on the eastbound train platform.

CHILLIWACK – The Chilliwack Chiefs recorded a win and a loss in their two weekend home games before Thanksgiving.
On Friday night, Robin Benoit of the Sherwood Park Crusaders scored the overtime winner in front of just over 2,000 fans at the Chilliwack Coliseum, leading the visitors to a 4-3 victory.

MERRITT, B.C. — Interior Health has revealed Thanksgiving long weekend closures of the emergency departments at hospitals in Merritt and Lillooet.
In separate news release, IH says the emergency room at Nicola Valley Hospital in Merritt will be closed at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 13) and reopen on Monday at 8:00 a.m.
