Five arrested, released on ‘strict conditions’ after B.C. youth assault: RCMP
KELOWNA, B.C. — Police say they have now arrested and subsequently released all five primary aggressors in a violent youth swarming captured on video in Kelowna, B.C.
The Mounties say the attackers were among about 30 youth who were at Gyro Beach on Okanagan Lake during the attack on a girl, who sustained injuries.
It comes a day after police said three of the five attackers had been arrested.

MIAMI (AP) — Hurricane Kirk strengthened Thursday into a Category 4 storm in the Atlantic Ocean and waves caused by it could cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions this weekend, forecasters said.

B.C. plane in fatal 2023 crash had unapproved modifications
RICHMOND, B.C. — Canada’s aviation safety agency is warning ultralight aircraft owners to make sure modifications are manufacturer-approved after investigating a fatal crash last year in northeastern British Columbia.
The Transportation Safety Board says the crash happened on June 25, 2023, when a two-seat Savannah aircraft crashed into Simpson Lake southwest of Chetwynd, B.C.
