Edmonton Elks receiver Eugene Lewis says mission to Africa changed his life
It was a life-changing experience for Eugene Lewis.

“It opened up my eyes to seeing a different part of the world and understanding what being grateful really, really is,” Lewis said. “You just un -

It’s the first raise to the AAP, informally known as “carding” money, since 2017.
The money is for living expenses and competition costs an athlete’s spor -

BURNABY, B.C. — The son of a woman killed in a hostage standoff in Surrey, B.C., in 2019 says he stood a block away watching as a “tank” was brought in, and heard multiple flashbangs going off on the night his mother was accidentally shot by police.
Brandon McEwen told the jury on the first day of a coroners inquest that he called 911 that night because his father, who lived nearby, heard a loud bang and a scream from the home where his mom, Nona McEwan, lived with her partner -

LETHBRIDGE, Alta. — A Crown prosecutor making the case against three men charged with mischief at the Coutts, Alta., border blockade told jurors Tuesday they don’t have to determine the accused were protest kingpins to find them guilty.

It aims to make the cost of renting or owning a home more accessible by creating a supply of 3.87 million new homes by 2031.
