DENVER (AP) — Colorado forward Brandon Duhaime has put the brakes on pulling pranks after losing all four of his tires and seeing a garden planted on the hood of his car.
Chalk up another win for Minnesota goaltender Marc-André Fleury, Duhaime’s former teammate who is the master of mischief.
Duhaime started the prank war when he decorated Fleury’s car with mounds of unrolled toilet paper.

CANDIAC, Que. — The violent crimes unit of the Quebec provincial police is investigating the death of a woman in her 20s in a Montreal suburb.
Sgt. Hélène St-Pierre says local police in the community of Candiac, Que., received a call around noon from someone concerned about the woman’s safety.
Police went to the woman’s apartment and found her dead.
St-Pierre says the investigation was turned over to the violent crimes unit of the provincial police.

B.C. announces one-time $430 rent relief benefit to low-income seniors
VICTORIA — The British Columbia government is granting a one-time $430 benefit to the roughly 20,000 seniors in its support program for elderly low-income renters.
