The 7-foot-4 center, from Toronto, willed his way to a win in a back-and-forth thriller between the country’s top two players, edging out Tennessee’s All-American, Dalton Knecht, who finished with 37 points.

Chilliwack City Council expected to invest in recycling infrastructure as Earth Month arrives
CHILLIWACK — With the arrival of Earth Month in April, Chilliwack City Council is being asked to put their money where their mouth is and fund improvements at the Bailey Sanitary Landfill Recycling Depot.

MONTREAL — Police in Burlington, Vt. say its residents are finding hidden AirTags and other GPS tracking devices on vehicles returning from Montreal.
The Burlington Police Department said last week that it had received two separate reports in the past month from residents who discovered the devices on their vehicles.

A dog named Hero lived up to his name earlier this week after spending two days by his stranded master’s side, keeping his owner warm and even fending off coyotes while the man waited to be rescued from a muddy ditch in southern Alberta.
