VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Canucks are looking to put the disappointment of a missed opportunity behind them and focus on the positives.
The Canucks (5-2-1) fell 4-3 in overtime to the New York Rangers on Saturday, courtesy of a K’Andre Miller winner 3:48 into the extra session, but are stressing the improvements they have made this season.

New heat recovery system transfers waste heat from Coliseum to Chilliwack Landing Leisure Centre
CHILLIWACK — The City of Chilliwack says it has completed the installation of a heat recovery system that will take waste heat produced by the Chilliwack Coliseum and use it to help heat the pools, hot tubs, and dehumidifiers in the Chilliwack Landing Leisure Centre.

Canada expands drug strategy to prevent more overdoses, provide additional services
The federal government is expanding its drug and substance use strategy to try to save more lives and provide more services to people disproportionately affected by Canada’s overdose crisis.
The Public Health Agency of Canada says the drug landscape has changed with an increasingly toxic supply since the strategy was first developed in 2016.
