TORONTO — Hamilton’s Alena Sharp headlines Golf Canada’s team for the upcoming Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile.
Sharp was one of four players named to the team by the national sport organization on Tuesday.

BLANC-SABLON, Que. — Quebec provincial police have identified the three fishers who died after their boat sank off of Quebec’s Lower North Shore early Monday morning.
Provincial police spokesman Sgt. Hugues Beaulieu says the three men were Yves Jones, 65, Dean Lavallée, 53, and Damon Etheridge, 36, all from Blanc Sablon, Que., about 1,300 kilometres northeast of Montreal.

TORONTO — Another week, another CFL honour roll nod for Ottawa Redblacks quarterback Dustin Crum.
Crum earned a top quarterback grade of 92.9 on Tuesday for his play in Ottawa’s 36-28 win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Crum finished 21-of-26 passing for 243 yards and two touchdowns while rushing five times for 53 yards.

OTTAWA — Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland says the federal government is unlocking another $20 billion in low-cost financing for the construction of rental housing across Canada.
