CHILLIWACK — The Fraser Valley Regional District released a statement Wednesday (Sept. 6) confirming that 27 structures were burned by the Kookipi Creek wildfire northwest of Boston Bar.
In a news release from FVRD spokesperson Samantha Piper, the regional district said six of the 27 structures were residences and the remaining were either recreational or maintenance buildings. FVRD says it has contacted all property owners where structure loss and damage was identified by BC Wildfire Serv
