McCulloch of Kingston, Ont., was the only player in the field to shoot under par all four days of the tournament at The Pulpit Club.
He posted rounds of 69-68-70-70 to finish at 7-under.

GLASGOW, United Kingdom — Isabella Holmgren won gold and fellow Canadian Marin Lowe took silver in the women’s junior cross-country Olympic race Thursday at the cycling world championships.
Holmgren, from Orillia, Ont., rode out to an early lead in the first lap of the race and finished with a time of one hour seven minutes 37 seconds.

High court won’t examine acquittal of B.C. old-growth logging protester
OTTAWA — Canada’s highest court has refused to hear an appeal of a British Columbia Supreme Court decision that acquitted a demonstrator of criminal contempt for taking part in a blockade of old-growth logging on Vancouver Island.
In its decision, the Supreme Court of Canada has dismissed the appeal application from the B.C. Crown and awarded costs to the demonstrator who now uses the name Emily Henderson.
As is customary, the high court did not provide reasons for its ruling.

OTTAWA — The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission will hear final arguments from Indigenous communities today regarding a proposed nuclear waste facility near the Ottawa River.
