PENTICTON, B.C. — Police in British Columbia say one teen is dead after a Jet Ski collision on Skaha Lake in the Okanagan city of Penticton.

CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders handed the Toronto Argonauts their first loss and won their first home game of the season in a 20-7 victory Friday.
The Stampeders (3-5) avoided falling to 2-6 to start a season for the first time since 2004 and halted the winning streak of the defending Grey Cup champions (6-1).

HALIFAX — Lauren Kim shot a final-round 2-under 71 on Friday to win the 109th Canadian women’s amateur golf championship.
The native of Surrey, B.C., held second place during the first three rounds of the championship and entered Friday’s final round two strokes behind Brooke Rivers of Brampton, Ont.

MONTREAL — Canadians Bianca Andreescu, Leylah Fernandez and Rebecca Marino will open play at this year’s National Bank Open against qualifiers.
