BOSTON BAR — The provincial watchdog agency tasked with providing oversight of police in BC is investigating the death of a woman in Boston Bar.
According to a news release Tuesday from the Independent Investigations Office (IIO), the RCMP told IIO personnel that first responders were dispatched on April 2, 2023 for a fire at a residence on Highway 1, the Trans-Canada Highway, about seven kilometres north of Boston Bar.
