TORONTO — Chip Ganassi Racing has been at the forefront of hiring women to its IndyCar Racing team, a strategy that has helped put two of its drivers atop the season’s standings.
Anna Chatten, a gearbox mechanic for Ganassi, said that hiring women has created a more diverse range of voices on the team and fostered a more creative atmosphere. She believes it’s one of the factors that has drivers Alex Palou and Scott Dixon Nos. 1 and 2 respectively in IndyCar.

Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz will meet in the Wimbledon final
WIMBLEDON, England (AP) — This was the moment. If Novak Djokovic was going to be stopped in the Wimbledon semifinals, if his much younger and harder-hitting opponent, Jannik Sinner, was going to turn things around Friday, the monumental comeback required would need to start immediately.
Djokovic knew it. Sinner knew it. The 15,000 or so Centre Court spectators knew it.

Widespread power outages in Quebec after severe thunderstorms, tornado
MONTREAL — There are power outages across Quebec this morning after severe thunderstorms — and at least one tornado — hit the province Thursday.

With TFC aimless, Dunfield turns to CFL legend Pinball Clemens for inspiration
