OTTAWA — Liberal MP Kirsty Duncan has again called for an inquiry into Canada’s safe sport crisis.

CALGARY — Jarome Iginla is back with the Calgary Flames.
The team announced Thursday the Hall of Fame winger has been named special adviser to rookie general manager and former teammate Craig Conroy.
Iginla registered 525 goals and 1,095 points in 1,219 games with Calgary during his decorated playing career, including two 50-goal seasons as one of the NHL’s top power forwards.

KALAMATA, Greece (AP) — The Greek coast guard says nine survivors from the migrant ship that sank off the country’s coast have been arrested on suspicion of belonging to the smuggling ring that arranged the voyage.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court on Thursday preserved the system that gives preference to Native American families in foster care and adoption proceedings of Native children, rejecting a broad attack from Republican-led states and white families who argued it is based on race.
