Toronto FC captain Michael Bradley, who has not played since a 0-0 tie at Nashville on April 8, looks set to miss his fourth straight outing.
The 35-year-old midfielder was listed as questionable ahead of last weekend’s 1-0 win over New York City FC but did not dress. Coach Bob Bradley, Michael’s father, had said he hoped the skipper might be ready for this weekend’s visit by the New England Revolution.

EDMONTON — Sergio Castillo wasn’t unemployed long.
Not long after being released by the Edmonton Elks on Thursday, the veteran kicker signed a one-year deal with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Derek Gee feels a mix of emotions heading into Saturday’s start of the Giro d’Italia.
Gee, the lone Canadian rider in the field, is excited to be taking part in his first Grand Tour event (the other two are the Tour de France and the Spanish Vuelta). Tyre Nichols died of blunt force injuries, autopsy shows
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Tyre Nichols died of blunt force injuries to the head after he was beaten by Memphis police during a January arrest, an autopsy report released Thursday showed.
The autopsy said the manner of death was homicide. It described multiple contusions, brain injuries, cuts and bruises to the head and other parts of the body.

OTTAWA — The Supreme Court of Canada will not hear the appeal of a Quebec man seeking compensation over imprisonment for murders he says he did not commit.
Yves Plamondon spent almost 28 years behind bars for the first-degree murders of three people in the 1980s.

Quebec renames highway for Montreal Canadiens legend Guy Lafleur
THURSO, Que. — Quebec is renaming a provincial highway for late Montreal Canadiens legend Guy Lafleur.
Highway 50, an east-west route in the greater Montreal area, will now be known as Autoroute Guy-Lafleur.
The highway passes through the hockey great’s hometown of Thurso, in western Quebec.
Lafleur died in April 2022 at the age of 70 after a battle with lung cancer.
