LONDON (AP) — Antonio Conte has left his position as Tottenham manager by mutual consent, the Premier League club said Sunday.The Italian’s assistant, Cristian Stellini, has been appointed acting head coach for the rest of the season.
The announcement comes just over a week after Conte delivered a post-match rant in which he accused the team’s players of being “selfish” and also took aim at the club’s ownership.

San Jose, Calif, (AP) — Toronto goalkeeper Sean Johnson and San Jose’s JT Marcinkowski both finished with two saves as the two clubs played to a scoreless draw on Saturday night.

SAINT PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Simon Becher scored unassisted in his first match of the season and it came in the eighth minute of second-half stoppage time, rallying the Vancouver Whitecaps to a dramatic 1-1 draw with Minnesota United on Saturday night.

Honduras cuts diplomatic ties with Taiwan
BEIJING (AP) — Honduras has cut diplomatic ties with Taiwan, the Latin American country announced Saturday, saying it recognizes “only one China in the world.”

HERRIMAN, Utah — Wing Joe Mano scored three tries as the Utah Warriors rallied for a 47-19 comeback win over the Toronto Arrows in Major League Rugby play Saturday.
