TORONTO — While an air of mystery surrounded Canadian Shaedon Sharpe around the 2022 NBA draft, the Portland Trail Blazers guard is certainly a secret no longer.

Biden watched as border officers in El Paso demonstrated how they search vehicles for drugs, money and other contraband. In a sign of the deep political tensions over the immigration, Republican Gov. Greg Abbott handed -

Hamlin in mind, Bills return to action with first-play TD
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Bills and their fans planned several tributes to safety Damar Hamlin for the team’s game Sunday — No. 3 jerseys, homemade T-shirts and even a 10-foot wide get-well card.
There was no scripting what happened once the Bills actually returned to action.
On their first play since a terrifying scene Monday, when Hamlin went into cardiac arrest during a game in Cincinnati, Bills return man Nyheim Hines ran the opening kickoff 96 yards for a touch -

‘Three Amigos’ gather this week in Mexico City to talk North American excellence
WASHINGTON — Familiar North American irritants — U.S. protectionism, intransigence on continental trade, irregular migration — return to the fore this week as the so-called “Three Amigos” meet for a trilateral summit in Mexico City.
Canada had an automotive axe to grind with the U.S. the last time Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, President Joe Biden and Mexico’s Andrés Manuel López Obrador all gathered at the White House in November 2021.

This Korean-Canadian curler wants to make the sport more diverse. Here’s how.
OTTAWA — When Melvin Lee stepped onto the curling rink ice for the first time, he says he felt joy — not just because he found a sport he would come to adore, but also because he was being welcomed by peers who shared some of the same lived experience.
That first invitation to curl with a diverse team of law students came more than two decades ago.
Now, the avid curler has a wealth of experience under his belt. And he is trying to give a similar welcome to others who are underr -

Morikawa pulls away with late run of birdies at Kapalua

No one could keep up with Morikawa, a two-time major champion who went to a putting coach late last year and is seeing it start to pay off. It makes for a frightening complement to his supreme iron play.
