BURNABY, B.C. — A tiny warbler spotted flying in a Vancouver parking garage is not only on the wrong side of the country, it’s on the wrong continent for this time of year.

CHILLIWACK — Unleaded gasoline prices jumped about 15-20 cents in the past 24 hours throughout Chilliwack, as the days of cheap gas around $1.30 per litre didn’t stick around for long.

MONTREAL — The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League says it is aware of sexual assault allegations against two former players.
The league said today it only recently learned of the alleged 2016 assault involving two former Drummondville Voltigeurs players and another young man.

CFL releases 2023 season schedule with new twist
The CFL has released its 2023 season schedule on Tuesday, with a bit of a twist.
For the first time since 2008, divisional playoff games are set to be played on Saturdays, with the semifinals taking place on Nov. 4 before the divisional finals go Nov. 11.
In addition, the league has reduced the number of times teams host games in consecutive weeks and halved the instances of teams playing back-to-backs against the same opponent.

OTTAWA — Skate Canada has updated its policies so that ice dance or pairs teams competing domestically can be composed of any two athletes.
Canada’s governing body of figure skating announced Tuesday that its definition of “team” for athletes training in the Podium Pathway will be revised to consisting of “two skaters.”
