VANCOUVER — Sportsnet will continue to broadcast Vancouver Canucks games on TV and radio for another decade.
The Canucks and Rogers Communications, which owns Sportsnet, announced Monday that the two sides have agreed to a 10-year deal that will last through the 2032-33 season.

New Montreal clinic will be part of Quebec network studying long COVID, Lyme disease
MONTREAL — A new clinic is opening today in Montreal that will treat patients who have either long COVID or Lyme disease.
It is one of the 15 specialized facilities announced by the Quebec government in May to study COVID and Lyme disease due to similarities in the way the two diseases affect patients.
Although most people recover from COVID-19 infections within two to four weeks, some patients even with mild versions of the disease end up with symptoms that endure much longer.

Police recover body of Quebec infant missing in river since car crash Friday
MONTREAL — Police in the Montreal suburb of Laval say they found the body today of a one-month-old infant missing in a river since Friday evening.
The baby boy had disappeared when a vehicle with his mother and four-year-old sister plunged into the Mille Îles River in a northwestern sector of Laval just before 5 p.m.
Police have said the 40-year-old mother was hospitalized and unable to speak to investigators, so they don’t know the circumstances surrounding the crash.

EDMONTON — The Red Deer Rebels ran into some early adversity in Edmonton on Sunday, trailing the host Oil Kings 2-1 before their game was 14 minutes old.
