Canada sanctions Russian entities over disinformation, including TV channel, actors
OTTAWA — Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly has announced more sanctions on Russian entities.
The new sanctions apply to 34 people and one television network that the government is calling “propaganda agents.”

Quebec’s police watchdog says an on-duty Quebec City officer caught on video in a pair of violent arrests last year is facing criminal charges.

Edmonton Elks starting quarterback Taylor Cornelius is set to miss the team’s season finale due to a spleen injury, the team announced Monday.

Feds ask banks to help make carbon-price rebate deposits more clear

CHILLIWACK — An Air Quality Advisory is being maintained through the Fraser Valley as smoke from wildfires continues to hang in the airshed above the region.
