    The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed forward Zach Aston-Reese to a one-year year contract worth $840,630.

  • Body of missing woman found during Nicola Valley search

    KAMLOOPS — A search for a missing 22-year-old woman in the Nicola Valley has ended tragically.
    In a post on Facebook, a friend of the family is reporting the discovery of Jacqueline McDermott’s body following search efforts Saturday (Oct. 8).
    The woman was the subject of a large search conducted by Search and Rescue teams, RCMP and members of the public.
