QB Rourke injures foot as Lions extend win streak with 28-10 victory over Roughriders
REGINA — The B.C. Lions picked up a costly 28-10 victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Friday night as starting quarterback Nathan Rourke went down with a foot injury early in the fourth quarter.
Rourke suffered the injury when he was sacked by Riders defensive lineman Pete Robertson.
The 24-year-old needed assistance from two teammates to leave the field after being attended to by the Lions training staff.

THOROLD, Ont. — Quebec’s Audrey Leduc broke the women’s 100-metre sprint record Friday en route to gold at the Canada Games.
Leduc ran 11.55 seconds to take down Cindy Moore’s record of 11.56 from 1977.
The 23-year-old’s time was an impressive 0.29 seconds ahead of Katherine Lucas of Team B.C. who finished with silver.

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Jaxon Mayervich struck out 10 batters and recorded an RBI while Benjamin Dartnell hit three RBIs in a 6-0 Canada win over Japan in Little League World Series action.
