CHILLIWACK — A fairytale luxury hotel will soon be open for business in the quaint village of Yarrow in Chilliwack.
Peter Sawatzky, owner of Imagination Corporation, is building the Hazelnut Inn, and said it all started with his honeymoon.

Fire damages Mississippi church where Faulkner was married
OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — The Mississippi church where William Faulkner was married nearly a century ago has been heavily damaged in a fire.
College Hill Presbyterian Church, northwest of Oxford, caught fire Saturday night and burned more than three hours, the Oxford Eagle reported.The congregation was founded in 1835, and the church was built in 1844. Faulkner and his wife, Estelle, married there in 1929 — two decades before the novelist received the Nobel Prize in literature.

Jeff Bohnert had all but given up on seeing his poodle-hound mix again after she went missing in early June. Two months later, he got a text from a neighbor: People exploring a nearby cave found a dog. Could it be Abby?
Bohnert doubted it, but still curious, he went to the cave site near his rural Missouri home. That’s when he saw the picture one of the rescuers took.

MONTREAL — Quebec’s environment minister is setting the limit on arsenic emissions for a copper smelter in the province’s northwest at 15 nanograms per cubic metre of air.

MONTREAL — Quebec has begun offering a fifth dose of COVID-19 vaccine to residents of long-term care homes and private seniors residences.
