  Quinte West Fire Chief John Whelan said it is extremely fortunate there were no fatalities in multiple-vehicle pileups in whiteout conditions on Highway 401 around 8 a.m. Tuesday.   A buffet of faith communities at the second annual Belleville Festival of Faith drew solid audiences to presentations over two evenings in the Parrott Gallery last week. The sessions were scheduled for three evenings Tuesday through Thursday, but Wednesday’s session was cancelled because of a heavy snow storm.
