    Belleville firefighters responded to an apartment fire in the 100 block of Henry Street in the West Hill neighbourhood Wednesday afternoon.   • Belleville firefighters extinguish house fire in freezing drizzle conditions

    Belleville Fire and Emergency Services responded to a house fire in a punishing, constant drizzle of freezing rain that coated everything in its path Tuesday evening. Firefighters quickly went to work on scene to extinguish a blaze in a single-family home in the 100 block of Gilbert Street after a call for assistance came in at 6:06 p.m. City firefighters discovered no residents in the home when they arrived.
