    OPP investigate ‘mischief on murals’ after cherished Eganville artwork gets graffitied 
    Killaloe OPP are investigating damage to museum murals in Eganville.  
    On July 18, police responded to a report of outdoor murals vandalized at the Bonnechere Museum. 
    The murals, featuring historic Eganville buildings, now have red marker stick figures marring the paintings.
    Museum director Kayla Desjardins says the murals are much loved in the community and were commissioned to feature local artists as part of the post-Covid Tourism Relief Fund.

    Local food bank running out of items in the face of ‘rising need’
    North Hastings Community Cupboard has put the call out for some much-needed items.
     They say that due to a rising need in the community they are completely out some essential supplies. These include baked beans, canned vegetables, peanut butter and pasta sauce.
    The cupboard says that donations are greatly appreciated and can be placed in collection bins at both grocery stores or the IDA.
    They can also be dropped off in person 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. T
