Montreal cancels contract to put up and dismantle Formula E racetrack
The city is terminating a contract with a road-marking company to set up and dismantle the track for the Formula E race.
In December, Mayor Valérie Plante said the city would no longer host the electric-car race, held last July, calling the event a financial fiasco.

Montreal is launching a million-dollar competition to create a major work of art for northern Outremont, where the Université de Montréal is building its new science and engineering campus.

The Montreal Impact announced on Wednesday that the club has come to terms with midfielder Ken Krolicki on a one-year deal, with three option years.
