  The Montreal Police arson squad is looking for a suspect in a fire two weeks ago in front of a West Island home.
  On May 10 at around 4:40 p.m., a young woman about 20 years of age was seen using a lighter to set garbage bags on fire in the entrance of the home on Curé-Trottier St. in Kirkland. The suspect was slim, of medium height, with a pale complexion and dyed red hair. She wore black leggings, a grey jacket, a dark pink three-quarter coat and black rain boots.

  Nearly 70 seniors living at the Henri-Bradet retirement home are moving out Sunday to make way for major renovations on the building.
  Residents of the Hampstead facility will be transferred to the Jewish General Hospital for the next 12 to 18 months, according to the CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal.

  ST-HYACINTHE – A 14-year-old teen has been sentenced to six months detention for his part in a plot to kill fellow classmates.
