    B.C. Greens release transportation plans, includes free transit for youth, seniors
    B.C. Green incumbent Jeremy Valeriote laid out the party’s plans for transportation in the province during a stop in Whistler Friday (Oct. 9).

    Saanich police chief receives UFV alumni award
    Saanich Police Chief Const. Dean Duthie was recognized for his leadership recently, as he received an alumni award from the University of the Fraser Valley.
    Duthie chose a career in policing 30 years ago, out of a desire to serve his community.
