    A Maple Ridge man and a North Van woman have been charged with killing self-described Iranian activist Masood Masjoody.

    Emergency crews were called out to a rollover collision on Highway 1, east of Chilliwack on Saturday.

    An at-home program that offers care to Indigenous elders in the Fraser Valley will be expanding, with the main focus on Chilliwack, thanks to $1.3 million in new funding.

    B.C.’s River Forecast Centre has issued high streamflow advisories for all of coastal B.C.
    The centre issued the three advisories Friday (March 13) at 11:30 a.m.: for the north and central coasts, Vancouver Island and the south coast.
    A strong atmospheric river is forecast to hit coastal B.C. beginning midday on Sunday (March 15) and could potentially continue on for several days. The heavy rainfall could continue through to Wednesday or longer.

    The completion of a three-year feasibility study has further solidified efforts to remove Enloe Dam and restore access to the Similkameen River for native salmon species.
