Two people were taken to the hospital, one in serious condition, after a multi-vehicle crash involving two semi-trucks and two passenger vehicles on Highway 17 in Surrey on Wednesday afternoon (March 11), according to BC Emergency Health Services.
A Black Press freelancer at the scene said one of the passenger vehicles was wedged under one of the semi-trucks, while the other was partially under it.
The crash occurred around 12:20 p.m. in the 11400 block of Highway 17.

Abbotsford Community Action Team spreads awareness of sexual exploitation

Posters, informational materials, and online resources will be placed in school, libraries, coffee shops and other public spaces.
