This afternoon, the Blue Jays faced off against the Rays in Game 3 of their series. As a reminder, the two teams split the first two games.
Shane Bieber took the mound for the Jays in this game. And the veteran was in (very) good form, allowing just one run over seven innings of work.

Many people in town are eager to see what Ivan Demidov will be able to accomplish this season. The young Russian, who will be starting his second full season with the Habs, showed flashes of great talent in 2025–26.
And after a summer of training in which he became much faster on the ice, he seems capable of great things.
The question is whether Demidov will have the linemates who will allow him to take his game to the next level this season. The Canadiens didn't bring in any reinforcement

In 2026–27, Noah Dobson will begin his second season with the Canadiens. The defenseman had a solid season last year, recording 12 goals and 47 points in 80 games in a role where he didn't get a lot of power-play time.
He logged plenty of 5-on-5 minutes on the team's top defensive pairing and played some very good hockey.
