  Last night in the first Duel race, a couple of big wrecks took out a lot of really nice Cup Series cars. As a result, three NASCAR teams are expected to skip today's Daytona 500 practice session. All teams going to a backup car will make laps in practice. Others were making repairs to the primary car. There are a lot of reasons why teams might skip out on a session.
