    Firefighters say they are again making good progress against the wildfire.
    No evacuation orders have been issued at this point, Cal Fire says.
    Air and ground units are still battling the flames, which are burning in heavy brush.

    SOUTH LAKE TAHOE (CBS13) — Tamarack, the black bear cub injured in the wildfire of the same name, has escaped from the animal rescue where it was being rehabilitated.

    TRUCKEE (CBS13) — The Truckee Air Show has been canceled this year due to the crash due to last month’s plane crash that left six people dead.
    On Tuesday, the Truckee Tahoe Airport District announced that the upcoming show has been canceled.
    The show was set to happen on Sept. 11.

    The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office says several new evacuation orders have been issued:

    TURLOCK (CBS13) — The search is on for the driver who hit and killed a man in Turlock early Tuesday morning along Highway 99.
