  COLUSA (CBS13) – A helicopter with multiple people on board crashed in a remote area of Northern California on Sunday, the Federal Aviation Administration announced.
  The FAA said the crash happened at around 1:15 p.m. near Colusa and initial reports seem to show that four people were on board, though that number has not yet been confirmed.

  INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. (AP) — Transportation officials at Lake Tahoe say they are experimenting with a new way to try change the behavior of visitors who fill up an overcrowded parking area for one of the lake’s most popular beaches.
  They are going to hit them in their wallets.
  The Nevada Appeal reports that under the new plan, parking fees will cost as $6 or $7 an hour depending on the day and time the visitor arrives at the lot on the edge of Incline Village leading to Hidden Beach.

  SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY (CBS13) — The body of a woman missing after a boating accident Friday in San Joaquin County has been recovered.
  Boating units from San Joaquin and Sacramento counties searched the Stockton Deep Water Channel Saturday where she was found late in the evening, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office.

  BUTTE COUNTY (CBS13/AP) — The latest on the Dixie Fire impacting Butte and Plumas counties:
  Containment improved overnight, up 32 percent from 30 percent Saturday. It is currently 244,888 acres and has destroyed 45 structures.

• Man Arrested For Starting Fire Near Thermalito in Butte County

  BUTTE COUNTY (CBS13) — An Oroville man has been arrested for starting a fire in Thermalito in Butte County last month.
  Anthony Trent Walker, 39, was booked into Butte County Jail this week on felony charges, including arson during a declared state of emergency and causing a fire that caused injury.
  At the time of his arrest, officials say Walker was also found to be in possession of a substantial amount of methamphetamine and heroin.

  STOCKTON (CBS13) – A suspect is sought after a confrontation outside of a Stockton home led to one person being stabbed, police said on Saturday.
  According to the Stockton Police Department, reports of the stabbing came in just before noon from the 1900 block of Vicki Lane in the Park District.

  ELK GROVE (CBS13) – An employee who was found to have placed a Confederate flag inside of an Elk Grove Unified van has been fired, the school district announced in a letter to families.

• Arrest Made After Person Fatally Stabbed At Gathering In Modesto

  MODESTO (CBS13) – A suspect is in custody after a fatal stabbing overnight in Modesto, police said on Saturday.
  According to the Modesto Police Department, officers were dispatched at around 2:30 a.m. to Crocker Lane in the southwest area of the city.
  There was a gathering at the address and one person, only described as a male, was found stabbed, police said. He died later at the hospital.
