    COLUSA (CBS13) – A helicopter with multiple people on board crashed in a remote area of Northern California on Sunday, the Federal Aviation Administration announced.
    The FAA said the crash happened at around 1:15 p.m. near Colusa and initial reports seem to show that four people were on board, though that number has not yet been confirmed.

    BUTTE COUNTY (CBS13) — An Oroville man has been arrested for starting a fire in Thermalito in Butte County last month.
    Anthony Trent Walker, 39, was booked into Butte County Jail this week on felony charges, including arson during a declared state of emergency and causing a fire that caused injury.
    At the time of his arrest, officials say Walker was also found to be in possession of a substantial amount of methamphetamine and heroin.

    STOCKTON (CBS13) – A suspect is sought after a confrontation outside of a Stockton home led to one person being stabbed, police said on Saturday.

    ELK GROVE (CBS13) – An employee who was found to have placed a Confederate flag inside of an Elk Grove Unified van has been fired, the school district announced in a letter to families.

    Arrest Made After Person Fatally Stabbed At Gathering In Modesto
    MODESTO (CBS13) – A suspect is in custody after a fatal stabbing overnight in Modesto, police said on Saturday.
    According to the Modesto Police Department, officers were dispatched at around 2:30 a.m. to Crocker Lane in the southwest area of the city.
    There was a gathering at the address and one person, only described as a male, was found stabbed, police said. He died later at the hospital.
