  WOODLAND (CBS13) – A big rig crashed off of the Yolo Bypass Friday afternoon, leaving the driver and passenger dangling off the side of the causeway.
  Traffic camera video shows the terrifying moments for the grandfather and grandson inside of the big rig cab, which suddenly swerved across the Yolo Bypass and crashed off of the guardrail.

  SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY (CBS13) — A fiery scene on Highway 99 near Stockton Friday afternoon ended without anyone getting hurt, authorities say.
  The scene was on Highway 99, near Mariposa Avenue in Stockton.
  As captured in cellphone video by passersby, a propane truck caught fire. Flames could be seen shooting from the vehicle – and in one video, an explosion could be heard.
  California Highway Patrol says the driver was able to pull over and get out of the truck.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — California is only days away from another hit to the state’s climbing gas prices. The gas tax bumps up to $.51 on July 1.
  It’s gone up every year since 2017 to account for inflation, but some State Senate Republicans want to cut Californians a break.
  Gas prices are currently on average about $4.25/gallon, per AAA. The state GOP wants a “gas tax holiday,” meaning no excise gas tax for a year in order to ease drivers’ pain at the pump.

  ROSEVILLE (CBS13) — A Roseville restaurant is back open on Friday, four days after an employee was shot and killed on the job.
  The House of Oliver has been closed since waitress Vita Joga was killed there Monday afternoon.
