  • Oklahoma tribes with casinos say no to compact arbitration

    TULSA, Okla. (AP) – Oklahoma’s 35 tribal nations with casinos have rejected arbitration in a dispute with the state over whether existing gaming compacts automatically renew at the end of the year.

    OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Officials have one person in custody who allegedly shot at his business partner and initiated a chase through NE Oklahoma City streets Sunday afternoon.
    Authorities say two business partners were arguing when one pulled out a gun and fired at the other near the 11800 block of NE 38th St.
    Thankfully, no one was injured from the shot.

    GRAVETTE, Ark. (KNWA) — The school photo of a service dog in Gravette, Arkansas is capturing hearts in the community.

    (CNN) — Marquis A. Jefferson, the father of Atatiana Jefferson, died Saturday at age 59.
    Marquis Jefferson suffered a cardiac arrest and was taken to a hospital in Dallas on Friday night, family spokesman Bruce Carter said. His death comes less than a month after his daughter was fatally shot by a police officer in her home in Fort Worth, Texas. Atatiana Jefferson was his only child.

    BECKHAM CO., Okla. (KFOR) – Officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol say one person is dead and one is in serious condition after a crash just north of Elk City Saturday afternoon.
    Officials say Dacia Easter and Craig Davis were driving on Highway 34 just before 5 p.m. Saturday when they failed to negotiate a curve.
    Their truck departed the roadway and struck a guardrail causing the vehicle to flip three times.

    DANVILLE, Pa. – The preparation of donor breast milk has been linked to the deaths of three babies at a Pennsylvania hospital, officials said Friday.

  • Driver dies from injuries suffered in OKC interstate crash

    OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Emergency crews were called to a fatal accident on Interstate 40, Saturday morning.
    The crash happened in the southbound lanes of I-40 near Czech Hall Road.
