  DENVER (CBS4) – Colorado health care workers are taking inventory of the state’s current intensive care unit capacity in anticipation of a “major increase” in the number of COVID-19 patients.

  DENVER (CBS4) –  The state legislature reconvened Monday just long enough to go into recess again. Lawmakers adjourned two weeks ago due to concerns about COVID-19. In order to recess again, without calling lawmakers back into session, they purposefully met without a quorum, or a minimum of 33 representatives and 18 senators.

  ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) — The Arvada Police Department ended a long week by celebrating a long life. When police heard Susie Montoya was celebrating her 102nd birthday, and someone wanted to send her a cherry pie, the cops were on a mission to make sure it was done safely.

• Coronavirus Pandemic: Denver Jail Inmate Tests Positive For COVID-19

  DENVER (CBS4) – An inmate inside the downtown Detention Center tested positive for COVID-19. Jail officials say the inmate, who was not identified, has been isolated in the medical unit.

  City officials say any inmate who feels flu-like symptoms are referred to medical staff for evaluation.
